Majority of times it is strong wind storms that cause the most damage in Canadian weathers. Due to the beating your roof
takes all year-round, your roof's shingles become weaker and when a strong gust of wind hits your roof, the impact often
breaks the shingles right off or leaves them barley connected to the roof.
Shingles damaged by wind storms are often not easily visible
as loose shingles can often fall back in place but with a gap
that can create further larger issues such as water leaking in
between the gaps when it rains.
RAIN DAMAGE
Damage from water leaks and moisture entering your home
can often lead to very expensive repairs as the leak does more
damage once it is inside.
Leaks age your roof and damage the internal layers that can
result in mold build-up, rot, dry wall damage.
Wet shingles eventually dry up and due the moisture result in
shingles curling up leaving pockets of gaps underneath.
